Wayland Town Crier 3/7/17: Wayland resident gets award from ALS Association. Stephen Winthrop of Wayland received the national Hero Award at the ALS Association’s Annual Leadership Conference in Irvine, California, on Feb. 3. Winthrop, who has lived with ALS since November of 2013, has served for the past two years as a national trustee of the ALS Association.
