Wayland Garden Club hosts Flower Arranger

WAYLAND GARDEN CLUB – New Members Welcome!

The Wayland Garden Club will meet on November 15 at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Road, Wayland. The program will begin at 10am followed by a buffet luncheon. The subject is Festive, Flirtatious Flowers. Laura Lindop, a very active flower judge in Newport and Boston, will demonstrate how to make creative holiday arrangements. A MFA associate, she is responsible for the large arrangements that great you at the museum entrances and has done arrangements at the White House. Laura was born in Stirling, Scotland, graduated from Edinburgh University and now makes Boston her home.

Founded in 1922, the Wayland Garden Club was one of the earliest established in Massachusetts. The club has a long-standing interest in preserving the environment, civic beautification, community outreach, horticulture and flower arranging. Speakers and workshops on a wide range of these subjects are featured at our monthly meetings.
