Wayland Town Crier 10/27/16: Selectmen weighing River’s Edge development recommendation. Selectmen are weighing a recommendation from the River’s Edge Advisory Committee has made about a developer to purchase and build on town land at 484-490 Boston Post Road (Rte. 20).

The town received “two very strong bids from qualified respondents to develop the River’s Edge property,” a memo from the committee to selectmen said. “Either party would, in (the committee’s) estimation, result in a successful project that would deliver significant tax revenues to the town for years to come.”
