Wayland Town Crier 10/17/16: Wayland Selectmen back assisted living zoning change. Selectmen on Monday supported a special Town Meeting article that would prohibit “assisted/independent living” and nursing home facilities from being built in residential zoning areas. Town Planner Sarkis Sarkisian said officials hope to keep large-scale facilities away from residential neighborhoods, where they would not fit.
