The Board of Selectmen will hold a Petitioner’s Workshop on Monday, August 15, 2016, at 7:10 p.m. in the Wayland Town Building. The purpose of the workshop is to allow prospective petitioners to Special Town Meeting to ask general questions, including legal questions. Town Counsel will be present at the workshop and may as required provide reasonable assistance to petitioners in the preparation of warrant articles.
Special Town Meeting will begin on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. The warrant for said Special Town Meeting will be open from Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 8:30 a.m. through Thursday, September 1, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. In accordance with Chapter 36, Section 36-3 of the Code of the Town of Wayland, all articles for consideration and inclusion in said warrant shall be submitted to the Selectmen’s Office in the Wayland Town Building at 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, Massachusetts by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016.
