The evolution of Happy Hollow’s organic garden

Wayland Town Crier 7/29/16: The evolution of Happy Hollow’s organic garden. Happy Hollow School’s organic garden on the east side of the school is a living lab of sorts, creating an abundant yield of learning opportunities for students, teachers and volunteers. The project’s coordinator, Deborah Niles, is a second-grade teacher, who launched the endeavor about five years ago on the west side of the 61-year-old school. Today it has evolved from six small raised beds with a chicken wire fence to a large enclosure with six larger beds and a permanent fence around it, a decorative gated entrance, and wooden benches for relaxation.
