Wayland Town Crier 5/17/16: Wayland author inspired by vaudeville for new novel. Wayland author Juliette Fay has written a fourth novel, “The Tumbling Turner Sisters,” inspired by her great-grandfather’s career in the vaudeville minor leagues in the early part of the 20th century. Fan’s of Fay’s work will remember her earlier books “Shelter Me,” “Deep Down True,” and “The Shortest Way Home,” which was chosen as one of the Library Journal’s Top Five Best Books of 2012 Women’s Fiction.
