The following was submitted by the River’s Edge Advisory Committee:

On behalf of the River’s Edge Advisory Committee, we are notifying you that the Town re-issued a Request for Proposals for the River’s Edge Project on April 21. Request for Proposals #16-28 is available for download at www.wayland.ma.us/bids by selecting “16-28-RFP River’s Edge” and registering at the website.

Included with the Request for Proposals and related documents, Exhibit 11 provides redline copies of revised documents to expedite an understanding of revisions since the first issuance. The primary change in this RFP re-issuance is that it is now structured to better facilitate on-site due diligence review by a successful bidder after designation, which was a common request made at a public meeting held with interested bidders after the first RFP response period expired. Also, based on this public meeting, clarification has been provided, where possible, pertaining to age-restricted housing, and to the intent of the River’s Edge Design Guidelines.

Interested RFP Respondents are strongly encouraged to have a representative attend an information session at Wayland Town Building, 41 Cochituate Road, Wayland, MA 01778, followed by an on-site tour at the Property. The information session will be on May 10, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am. Advance registration to attend the information session is encouraged by no later than 4:00 pm on May 9, 2016. To register, please email Elizabeth Doucette, MCPPO, at edoucette@wayland.ma.us. Participants in the on-site visit will be required to sign a release in the form attached to the RFP as Exhibit 2.6.
