HRS Holds its Annual Fundraiser at Elm Bank, May 11, 2016 “Healing Lives, Strengthening Community”

HRS1

Demand for therapy services and crisis intervention continues to rise. There has been a steady increase in children and teens with depression, anxiety, and serious behavioral problems. Parents and children face a growing range of pressures involving academic and athletic performance, social relationships, addictive nature of technology, alcohol and drug use. You may have never heard of HRS. You may never need them. But when anyone in our community needs mental health support, HRS is here to help. HRS has been serving the Wayland, Weston and Wellesley communities since 1948 and helps parents and families cope with these stresses–regardless of their ability to pay. In addition, HRS consults to our schools and is the safety net when crisis and tragedy strike.

We hope you will join us for an evening of delicious food from local celebrity chefs: The Local, Bokx109, American Prime, Sweet Basil, Juniper, Wasik’s Cheese Shop, Captain Marden’s Seafood, Aura at the Seaport, Iggy’s bread; There will be a full bar with Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Lower Falls Wine Company, and a Silent and Live Auction.

The event is chaired by Sue Brady Hartigan. You’ll hear remarks by Dr. Jamie Chisum, Principal, Wellesley High School and Dr. Robert Evans, Executive Director of HRS. The funds raised at this annual event help ensure that HRS can keep providing the highest quality care to those in need and continue to support the well-being of our community.

This special event is being held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at the Hunnewell House at Elm Bank of the Mass Horticultural Society, 900 Washington Street, Wellesley, from 6-10pm.
