Make your reservations now for Toys in the Attic which will be held Thursday, April 21st at 7pm. It will be held at the Large Hearing Room at the Wayland Town Building and there is no charge. Appraiser Gary Sohmers, an Antiques Roadshow regular, will share his expertise and offer verbal appraisals of vintage toys brought by attendees. Gary operates Wex Rex Collectibles and Saxonville Auction Service. He attends and sells at numerous antiques and collectibles events each year, and has appeared as an appraiser of toys, collectibles and memorabilia on the popular PBS television program Antiques Roadshow. The program is a joint venture of the Wayland Council on Aging and the Wayland Historical Society. Bring up to two items for display on the viewing tables up front (items must be in place by 7:15pm). Please call the COA at 508-358-2990 to reserve a seat and a spot for your item(s). Viewing of toys begins at 7pm and the program begins at 7:30pm.
