Wayland Town Crier 3/5/16: Current and former Wayland residents start charitable foundation. Lighthouse Charitable Foundation sponsored an “Olympic Effort to Bridge the Gap” on Feb. 23 at Bosse Sports in Sudbury. Olympic swimmer Dara Torres led a challenging and fun spinning class.
The founding directors of the foundation are Juli Frawley of Wayland and former Wayland resident Lara Balter. Over $5,000 was raised to help bridge the gap between the mental health care families can afford and the care their children need.
