FORM YOUR SWARM! The Wayland Public Schools Foundation 25th Annual Team Spelling Bee is Here!
The 2016 Spelling Bee will take place Sunday, March 20th, 12:00pm – 4:00pm at Wayland High School. The Spelling Bee is a fundraising event for the Wayland Public Schools Foundation, welcoming over 300 elementary bee participants, 70+ community volunteers, and over 1000 guests.
The Bee is open to students in grades 2 through 5. Children form teams of three (with all three children in the same grade). Online registration is by individual, but you will need your child’s team name and other team members’ names to register.
Cost is $30 per child, which includes t-shirt & gift. Full and partial scholarships are available. (Spelling Bee fees support grants for Wayland Public Schools!)
Regular registration runs Monday, Feb. 1 – Friday, Feb. 19. Late registration will run the following week, ending on Friday, Feb 26 ($40 per child).

The Wayland Public Schools Foundation has established a tradition of innovation in our schools by funding grant proposals submitted by Wayland teachers and staff for cutting-edge programs that would otherwise go unfunded. Often the foundation provides the seed money for new teaching approaches that take root and spread to other classrooms. This is possible only through generous community support, business giving programs, and fundraising events.
