Sudbury Valley Trustees project to improve pollinator populations

Wayland Town Crier 1/14/16: Sudbury Valley Trustees project to improve pollinator populations. Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) received a $3,000 grant from the Sudbury, Concord & Assabet Wild & Scenic River Stewardship Council (RSC) through its Community Grants Program. The grants are intended to advance projects supporting and enhancing the protection and enjoyment of the Sudbury, Assabet and Concord Wild and Scenic River. The goal of SVT’s project is to improve monarch butterfly and other native pollinator habitat located along the Sudbury River by planting native wildflower plants.
