Technology and Your Family, Monday, November 23 at the Wayland Library.

technology and familyTechnology and Your Family –   Monday, November 23 at 7:30 pm at the Wayland Library. There has been a tremendous influx of technology into our lives.  This is particularly challenging for those of us with children or teens.   As parents, allowing age appropriate content, establishing screen time limits and doing technology check-ins is part of our job.   But, implementing those boundaries is easier said than done.   In many cases, we need to do more, but lack the time, knowledge or tools.

In this upcoming session, we will share parent best practices (from parents) that can help ensure the content that you deem inappropriate is not reaching your kids.  Some of these practices don’t require any technology, a few are quite low tech, and several high tech approaches, once established, can basically run themselves.  Whether you are just thinking about getting your youngster an iPhone or have teens at the high school with multiple devices, you will leave this session with a plan and specific actions that will improve the impact of technology on your family.
