Wayland Town Crier 10/29/15: Wayland Town Center has produced over $2M in tax revenue. The past, present and future of the Town Center development was dissected last week before a capacity crowd at a Wayland League of Women Voters forum. The bottom line, according to the panel of presenters, is that the Town Center has been a positive addition, providing commercial, residential and gathering space and enhancing tax revenues. The acquisition of a 4.16-acre “municipal parcel,” scheduled for a vote at special Town Meeting on Nov. 9, will complete the vision of a real center for the community.
