Wayland Town Crier 10/1/15: Wayland probe group’s METCO spending. School officials are probing the relationship between Wayland’s METCO director and a private parent group after it was called into question this week by state inspectors. Superintendent Paul Stein on Thursday said he is examining the financial activities of the Boston Parent Council, a private organization that functions similarly to a parent teacher group for Wayland’s METCO program, after receiving new information about the BPC from the office of Inspector General Glenn Cunha.
