On Tuesday, October 6, at 7:30 p.m. Dan Wolff will give the first of this season’s Great Presenters programs at the Wayland Library. He will talk about ticks, their behavior and life cycles and how they relate to the environment. The presentation will also cover how to best defend yourself, your family, and your pets from ticks. Mr. Wolff is the president and founder of TickEase, Inc., a products manufacturing company whose mission is to provide safe and effective tools for removing and repelling ticks, facilitating tick testing and educating the public for the prevention of tick-borne illnesses like Lyme disease. Dan also founded Mass Deer Service, a suburban deer management program aimed at controlling deer populations.
