Wayland Town Crier 9/18/15: Domestic Violence Roundtable to host awareness month event. The Sudbury Wayland Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable will continue the conversation started in 2014 around domestic abuse with an Oct. 13 event at the Goodnow Library.

During domestic violence awareness month this October, the Roundtable will host “Helping Children and Youth Learn to Cope with Common Childhood Challenges,” The talk, featuring two psychologists, will focus on how to coach children through common experiences of loss, change or failure that can have big impacts.

In addition to the event, the Roundtable is encouraging residents to think during the awareness month about how to continue the conversation around domestic violence awareness in their own homes. The Roundtable’s website will feature activities all over the Commonwealth during the month of October.

The event kicks off on Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Goodnow Library at 21 Concord Rd.
