Wayland Town Crier 9/9/15: Wayland preps withdrawal from Minuteman. The Board of Selectmen last week approved the wording of an article to be submitted to special Town Meeting starting Nov. 9 regarding the town’s proposed withdrawal from the Minuteman Regional School District. With only one student currently enrolled in the vocational institution located in Lexington, Wayland is weighing whether it’s in the town’s fiscal interest to remain a member community, particularly as Minuteman prepares to launch a $144 million project to build a new school for more than 600 students.
