Plans are underway for the 4th Annual Lobsterfest held by the Friends of the Wayland Council on Aging, a 501(c)3 organization. Proceeds support Council on Aging programs and activities. The Lobsterfest is set for Sunday, October 4th at Sandy Burr Country Club from 5:00pm – 7:30pm. Event includes live auction, raffles, the always popular beer and wine toss, and more! Buffet dinner includes: lobster, steak tips, chicken, chowder, salads, watermelon, ice cream sundaes. Tickets are $60 and are on sale at Village Bank, COA Office at the Town Building or via Friends Board Members (Sue Pope, Kathy Hodge, Mary Antes, Patty MacNeil, Steve Correia, Mary Kelly, Dave D’Orlando, Betsy Willard, Sonja Strong, Jane Capasso, Nancy Leifer).
