Significant strides have been made in beefing up IT security in town since February, when hackers attempted to make off with nearly $4 million from Wayland’s municipal coffers. Real solutions are long-term, however, and preventive measures have to be monitored constantly, IT expert Mike McCann of Advent Consulting told the Board of Selectmen recently.
