Wayland Town Crier 7/22/15: Wayland resident honors father in bike event. Katherine Kline of Wayland biked 30 miles in the 2015 Ride to End Alzheimer’s on July 18. Beginning and ending in Fort Devens, the event offered a 2-mile family ride, 30-mile, 62-mile and 100-mile route reaching all the way from Western Massachusetts to Southern New Hampshire. In 2010, Kline’s father was diagnosed with early onset dementia at the age of 59. Her father was a semiprofessional cyclist so Kline joined the ride in 2014.
