Stanford.edu 5/28/15: Graduating seniors receive Stanford Alumni Association’s Outstanding Achievement Award. Graduating senior (and Wayland native) Zachary Ellison was among two students who received the Stanford Alumni Association’s Outstanding Achievement Award for making a significant impact on the Stanford community. Howard Wolf, president of the Alumni Association, announced the award at a private reception May 21. Ellison, a computer science major, was cited for his engagement in a variety of student activities, including Dance Marathon, the lacrosse team – on which he is a goalie – and Kappa Sigma fraternity. However, what has set him apart from other members of the Class of ’15, his nominators said, has been his “incredible leadership” in the broader residential and Greek communities.
