Connecting with Transgender Lives: A Panel Discussion, Sunday, May 31

uuwayland transgenderThe High School Youth Group and the Welcoming Congregation Committee invite you to attend a panel discussion about transgender lives on Sunday, May 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. at First Parish in Wayland. This discussion is open to the public and all are welcome.

We plan to present a panel of speakers who experience transgender lives from several different perspectives, including an adult who transitioned from female to male as an adolescent, the parent of a young person whose gender identity is not the same as his/her sex at birth, and a psychologist who has training and experience in this area. There will be an opportunity to direct questions to our panelists. Whether you identify as transgender, are a friend of the transgender and gender-fluid community, or just want to better understand transgender lives, you are welcome to join us. Older youth, Grade 8 and up, are especially welcome.

First Parish in Wayland is located at the intersection of Rtes. 20 and 27. For more information, please visit our website at www.uuwayland.org or call 508-358-6133.
