An Ice Cream Social is being held on Monday, June 1, 2015, to celebrate Cheryl Fertig’s retirement as director of The Children’s Way (TCW). Ms. Fertig has devoted 18 years of her early childhood education career to the Wayland Public School district’s program. The five-classroom preschool is located in the Wayland Town Building.
Current and past TCW families are welcome to come wish Ms. Fertig well and to enjoy ice cream together. The event begins at 4 pm and continues until 5:30 pm and will be held at the Wayland Town Building on the lawn (rear of building). Organizers look forward to reminiscing, sharing stories, and getting reacquainted with program graduates and creating an opportunity for family to congratulate Ms. Fertig and wish her well in her retirement.
