Don’t miss national sleep expert, Dr. Judith Owens, speaking at the Wilson School in Natick!
Tues, May 5 at 7 PM

The Natick Public Schools and the Natick School Committee are very pleased to announce an incredible opportunity for both Natick staff and parents. Dr. Judith Owens, Director of Sleep Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, will be in Natick next week on Tuesday, May 5th to speak with staff in the afternoon and with parents during an evening session starting at 7pm at Wilson Middle School. Dr. Owens will share her expertise on adolescent sleep cycles and raise awareness about ensuing health problems that occur when adolescents experience chronic sleep deficiency.

This event is for parents of all ages. Adolescent phase delay can begin as early as twelve years old. Please come learn more about what constitutes appropriate sleep and how it optimally sustains your children to be healthy – socially, emotionally, and academically. This is an amazing opportunity to have a national sleep expert work with our community to create awareness around one of the most influential and controllable variables that affects student health, developmentally appropriate sleep needs.

Please make time next Tuesday evening, May 5th at 7:00 at Wilson Middle School to join us for a discussion about adolescent sleep and how fundamentally it affects your childrens’ well-being.
