The School Committee would like to invite the community to participate in a conversation with Edvocate, a consulting firm dedicated to improving food service programs for K-12 schools. The District has hired Edvocate to conduct an assessment of its Food Service Program.

The School Committee plans to meet with Edvocate on Monday, April 27th, at 7PM in the School Committee conference room of the Town Building. Edvocate will lead a discussion with community members and the Committee about the most important aspects of the Food Service program (e.g. nutrition, quality, cost, participation etc.) and what makes a successful program.

Community members are encouraged to attend the meeting and share their perspectives with Edvocate and the School Committee. For those who cannot attend, a survey will be sent out via the District’s listserve and distribution list.
