Looking to Change Careers or Improve Your Technical Skills? Minuteman Technical Institute is Accepting Applications

minutemanIf you’re an adult looking to change careers or to improve your technical skills in your current trade, the Minuteman Technical Institute may be the place for you.

The Minuteman Technical Institute (MTI) is now accepting applications for September 2015 admission into nine (9) different post-graduate programs: Advanced Automotive Technology, Building Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts/Baking, Dental Assisting, Early Education & Care, Electrical Wiring, Hospitality Management, and Plumbing.

“We arm students with the skills they need to compete successfully for jobs in high-growth industries,” said Jill Asser, Director of Community Education. “They learn from the experts, they learn more, and they get the individual attention they deserve.”

MTI provides students with the required qualifications to confidently seek out and successfully compete for employment. Adults may apply to the MTI programs to hone their skills in a technical area, retrain for new employment, or learn new technical skills. MTI rapidly equips students with the knowledge, self-confidence, and industry certifications to enhance their existing career or begin a new one.

MTI’s post-graduate programs follow the regular school calendar and are held from September through June, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

MTI offers interest-free payment plans for all of its programs. In addition, students living in one of Minuteman’s 16 district towns receive a 50% tuition discount.

MTI will be running several Open Houses to give potential students more information about its post-graduate programs and the application process. Open Houses are scheduled for April 7, May 12, and June 9 at 6:00 p.m. at 758 Marrett Road in Lexington.
