The town clerk’s office reported 2,456 voters cast ballots out the 9,105 eligible voters, a nearly 27 percent turnout. Anderson, a first-time candidate, received the most votes for a seat on the board, 1,386. Selectman Mary Antes, who is serving a one-year term on the board created by the resignation of Doug Leard in late 2013, will stay on the board in receiving 1,328. Former Selectman George Harris, who was looking to rejoin the board, was out of luck, receiving 1,211 votes.
