We are proud to announce the 5th Loose Change campaign in Wayland, February 28th -March 8th. For each of the last 4 years the residents of Wayland have come together as a community, and so far we have raised $65,000 mostly in coins. 100% of this money has been used to make 17 donations of books and educational supplies to remote village in the Andes of Peru, many of which have no electricity or water and minimal healthcare and education.
Do you have a change jar? Can you find lost and forgotten coins in your car, purse, pockets, behind the sofa etc? Please bring them in to the schools and points across Wayland.
In Peru, even 1 penny buys a pencil, and a pencil makes all the difference to a child who has only 1 pencil to last them several years.
Every penny counts! Thank you
