Nature Photography Workshops at Wolbach Farm, Sudbury

The natural beauty of this region can be so inspiring! How do photographers capture the breathtaking grandeur of a landscape and the perfect detail of a flower in bloom or bird in flight? Sudbury Valley Trustees (SVT) is offering several upcoming programs on Nature Photography at Wolbach Farm, 18 Wolbach Road, Sudbury. SVT is a non-profit land trust that works to conserve land and protect wildlife in a 36-town region around the Concord, Assabet, and Sudbury Rivers.

On Thursday, February 19, at 7:00 pm, photographer Wayne Hall will present a seminar entitled “A Nature Photographer’s Guide to Composition.” Wayne will share the basic elements of photographic composition, particularly as applied to creating successful images of nature’s beauty in the Metrowest area. Wayne serves as leader of the Sudbury Valley Nature Photographers, a group of talented advanced amateur and professional photographers brought together by their passion for capturing the beauty and power of nature through photography.

In March, SVT welcomes instructors from Upper Classes at Framed in Time in Framingham for “Framing an Image: A Photography Workshop.” This hands-on workshop pairs classroom lessons in photography and outdoor field experiences on SVT conservation land at Wolbach Farm. A second session of this workshop will also be offered in May.

Registration is required and SVT programs often sell out, so visit www.svtweb.org/programs or call 978-443-5588 X 123 for more information or to register.
