Wayland Town Crier 12/9/14: Wayland board suspends restaurant’s liquor license for 1 day. he Board of Selectmen on Monday night suspended the liquor license of the newly opened China Rose restaurant on East Plain Street due to inaccuracies in the filing for its license and failure to comply with regulations. The suspension for 24 hours began at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. At the recommendation of Police Chief Robert Irving, the selectmen ordered the restaurant to refile its application and appear again before the board on Monday.
