Wayland Town Crier 12/2/14: Land Court rules against CVS developers in Cochituate. Massachusetts Land Court Judge Alexander Sands ruled just before Thanksgiving to declare Hammond Road a private way that cannot be consolidated for a proposed 14,000-square-foot CVS on the former site of Finnerty’s Restaurant in Cochituate. The developers of the site, 150 Main Street LLC, lost their bid to declare Hammond Road an easement, and may have to alter their current proposal in order to build a smaller structure that will meet setback requirements. The Martinos are the sole residents of Hammond Road.
