The Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting safe and healthy relationships and raising public awareness about abusive and controlling behaviors. The Roundtable pursues these goals by educating our communities, supporting agencies that provide services to victims of abuse and mobilizing community leaders.

Annually, the Roundtable hosts and sponsors a number of educational programs and provides domestic violence resource materials to local businesses, medical, dental, and other professional offices, public buildings, and faith communities. In addition, the Roundtable sponsors a family at the holidays, distributes Valentine bags to women and children in local shelters and transitional housing programs and conducts a Shower for Shelters in the spring to collect household items for families moving from shelters and transitional settings to permanent housing.

The Roundtable meets monthly from September through May at 3 PM at the Wayland Public Safety Building located at the intersections of routes 20 and 27 in Wayland Center. Meetings are open to the public. For further information about the Roundtable, about the various forms of abuse, and about domestic violence resources, please go to www.domesticviolenceroundtable.org.
