Deer hunting season underway in Weston

Wayland Town Crier 10/18/14: Deer hunting season underway in Weston. Deer hunting on Weston’s conservation land has begun, running Monday to Saturday from dawn to dusk through Dec. 31. Hunters must receive a permit from the town’s Conservation Commission, and all bow hunting must be done from a portable tree stand displaying the permit. The six designated parcels are Ogilvie Town Forest, Jericho Town Forest, Sears Land, Dickson Field, Blaney Aquifer and Highland Forest, the latter of which was added for this year’s hunting season. Ogilvie Town Forest and Jericho Town Forest border on Wayland.
