Wayland Town Crier 9/26/14: Chinese students visiting Wayland High. Six students and two teachers are visiting Wayland High School from Beijing’s Jingshan Yuanyang School, part of an annual exchange program between the U.S. and China. “They’re very modern,” exchange program director Donna Fong said of the Beijing school, “and their district educational department is encouraging them to develop more innovative programs … so their teachers actually have been observing classes (in Wayland), observing teaching methods, and learning different techniques of how teachers teach.”
