Wayland Patch 9/12/14: Wayland Property Tax Bill Tenth Highest in State, Says Report. Many communities in the more affluent suburbs of Boston are two- to three-times the state median of $3,533, reported the Boston Business Journal in a recent comparison of property taxes in Massachusetts.

Wayland’s tax rate, which had in previous years been among the highest in the state, now ranks #53.
