Wayland High grads earn Village Bank scholarships

Wayland Town Crier 7/21/14: Wayland High grads earn Village Bank scholarships. Wayland High School graduate Andrew Lidington received a scholarship for $10,000 from The Village Bank, with $2,500 to be awarded at the successful completion of each of the four college years. Candidates were required to have demonstrated involvement in local community and/or charitable causes. In addition, Wayland High School graduate Kenneth Kistner earned a $2,000 scholarship. A total of 21 graduating seniors were awarded scholarships totaling $58,000. The bank’s total investment in education since the program began in 1998 is now over $500,000.
