Wayland Town Crier 6/26/14: Counsel sought for River’s Edge development. The Wayland Board of Selectmen is seeking special counsel in the request for proposals to select a developer for River’s Edge, the new affordable and market rate rental project slated near the Wayland landfill on Rte. 20. The town’s Economic Development Committee refined its plan for River’s Edge for this year’s annual Town Meeting, proposing a 150- to 190-unit, 25-percent age-restricted project, which received the required two-thirds approval from voters to pass.
