Wayland Town Crier 5/29/14: Housing project in Wayland moves forward. River’s Edge, the proposed new affordable and market rate rental housing project near the landfill on Rte. 20, came a few steps closer to realization when the Board of Selectmen voted to approve the charge for a River’s Edge Advisory Committee. At the same time, the selectmen were informed that an appeal of the Conservation Commission’s Order of Conditions filed by a group of residents led by Tom Sciacca, which could have caused further delays to the project, was denied by the state Department of Environmental Protection on May 15.
