On Saturday, May 24, from 2-5:30pm, mycologist and author Lawrence Millman will lead a walk through the Hamlen Woods Conservation Area on Rice Road to point out and teach about all the little mushrooms that grow under logs and in other hidden places. This walk is organized and sponsored by Wayland Walks, a program of Wayland 375. A donation of $5-10 is requested. Watch for the red fire hydrant on Rice Road, and meet in the parking lot for Hamlen Woods.
