Weston church members volunteer at Habitat site

Wayland Town Crier 4/11/14: Weston church members volunteer at Habitat site. Dozens of volunteers from First Parish Church in Weston spent the day working at the new Habitat for Humanity build site on Stonebridge Road in Wayland on March 29. Although much of the site was still covered in snow and mud, the morning was spring-like and sunny. Volunteers helped prepare the site for its foundation pouring, which was scheduled to happen later in the week. One of the most rewarding components of a Habitat for Humanity build day is that volunteers get to work alongside members of the families who will eventually move into the homes. At the Stonebridge Road site, there will be four families living in two separate duplexes.
