Town Crier coverage of LWV’s Candidates’ Night

Candidates Night is available on-demand here.

Town Crier coverage of the segments:

  • One-year Wayland selectmen candidates debate. Two familiar faces – former selectmen Mary Antes and Linda Segal – explained their positions at last week’s Candidates’ Night, as they vie for the one-year selectman seat available at Town Election on April 1 due to Doug Leard stepping down for health reasons.
  • Three-year Wayland selectmen candidates debate. With four Wayland residents running for the two available three-year seats in the Town Election on April 1, Candidates’ Night last week drew a capacity crowd to the Large Hearing Room in the Town Building.
  • Wayland School Committee Candidates Agree on Many Topics. The three residents running for two available seats on the School Committee at the Town Election on April 1 – Jeanne Downs, Alexia Obar, and incumbent Barbara Fletcher – addressed a capacity crowd in the Large Hearing Room of Town Building at Candidates’ Night on March 18, seeming to concur on all major topics.
