Wayland Town Crier 1/8/14: Wayland begins search for new town administrator. The Board of Selectman and Personnel Board met with Alan Gould of Municipal Resources Inc. of New Hampshire on Monday night to review the timeline for selecting a new town administrator. Fred Turkington was abruptly fired by the selectmen in a 3-1 vote last August, and Robert Mercier has been hired in the interim as acting town administrator.
