Wayland Town Crier 12/5/13: Wayland DPW oversees tree removal before morning commute. A large tree fell bearing NStar wires along Old Connecticut Path on Wednesday afternoon. The Wayland Department of Public Works lined up a professional crew and finished cleanup of the area on Wednesday night, so that commuters and the school traffic could flow as normal as possible this morning. According to Board of Public Works member Mike Lowery, Wayland expects to be reimbursed by NStar.
