Mercier as the town’s new interim town administrator, one of two candidates recently interviewed for the job.

Wayland Patch 11/8/13: Interim TA Chosen for Wayland. The Board of Selectmen have chosen Robert Mercier as the interim town administrator, according to Acting Town Administrator John Senchyshyn. Selectmen, during their Nov. 6 meeting, chose Mercier over the other candidate, Richard Kerbel, Senchyshyn said. The move comes after selectmen fired former town administrator Fred Turkington in August.
