Wayland Town Crier 10/31/13: WayCo announces 2013 charitable donations. WayCo Amateur Sports Development (WASD), a Wayland-based nonprofit organization offering athletic, leadership and community service opportunities for young Wayland residents, is pleased to announce its 2013 charitable donations. Two separate donations were made thanks to the generosity of businesses, players and community members. The first was made in honor of the late Eric Chase, with a $500 donation to Team Eric for the Pan-Mass. Challenge. A $2,225 donation was made to the Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island organization. The foundation grants wishes for children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.
