The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) announces two walks for the general public on the Lincoln Road Fields (The Fields) to be held on consecutive Saturdays, November 9th and November 16th, from 10:00 a.m.-noon on November 9th and 2-4:00 p.m. on November 16th. The Fields consist of about 22 acres of magnificent land located on Lincoln Road, a scenic road, and are the subject of a warrant article for the Special Town Meeting being held on November 20th. The CPC is recommending the Town acquire a Conservation Restriction on The Fields from the current owner that will prevent any development of housing or other construction from ever being built on the property. The transaction can only be closed if two-thirds of Wayland’s citizens vote to approve it at Town Meeting.

Please join us on a walk of the property and see The Fields that we are trying to protect from future development. We will meet at the intersection of Lincoln and Hazelbrook Roads.
