District-wide, voters selected Katherine Clark (D) and Frank Addivinola (R) to proceed to the Special Election. Among Democrats in Wayland, Clark won Precincts 1, 3 and 4 while Peter Koutoujian took a narrow victory in Precinct 2. Among Republicans, Michael Stopa and Tom Tierney each took two precincts, with Addivinola winning none, and placing third town-wide.
