Preview of October 7, 2013 Board of Selectmen Meeting

The Board of Selectmen will meet on Monday, October 7, 2013 in Wayland Town Building beginning at 7:00 p.m. After reviewing the meeting agenda for the viewing public and making announcements, a new Wayland Police Officer will be sworn-in, followed by public comment.

At approximately 7:15 p.m., there will be a discussion with a resident regarding increased commuter traffic on Glezen Lane. At 7:30 the Board will interview a candidate and to fill a vacancy on the Wayland Cares Review Committee. Beginning at approximately 7:40 pm, Selectmen will continue their discussion on the selection process for a new Town Administrator. The Board will then review potential dates for spring Town Meeting and then continue their review of the goals for the Town Administrator for FY 14.

At approximately 8:30 the Selectmen will review the consent calendar and then enter executive session to review executive session minutes from 9/9, 9/16, 9/23 and 10/2 with the potential of releasing those minutes in open session. At approximately 9:10 pm they will review correspondence, listen to the report of the Acting Town Administrator and then offer their reports and concerns.
